Who & Why?
Esther Benjamin has been looking after LifeSource Youth & Young Adults for over 2 years, and is passionate about creating a safe environment for young people to develop their relationship with God and to making strong friendships.
We have an incredible team of Young People who are passionate about helping and supporting the youth live their best lives, and building their relationship with God. Many of our leaders grew up in this Youth Ministry as well, and understand the importance of having, and now being, leaders who can have lots of fun, while also being a guide and support through the highs and lows of teenage years.
What Happens?
Friday Nights:
When: Every Friday
Time: 7:00pm Til 9:00pm
Who: Everyone in Year 7-12
Every Friday night during the school term, we gather as a youth group. No matter what kind of week it has been, it’s always refreshing to come to a place to be known and cared about.
Each week our aim is to create a safe environment for young people to come explore a relationship with God, while creating solid friendships and having lots of fun.
We start off with ‘Hang-Time’ from 7:00-7:30pm, where the youth can meet with their friends and chat or play games. We then continue with our program for the night, either into our Connect Groups, or into our auditorium for a service from 7:30-9:00pm.
Connect Groups:
Connect Groups are smaller groups divided into age groups and genders (Year 7-8, 9-10 & 11-2). These smaller groups make it easier to build friendships with those of similar ages, to have relevant discussions and to ask questions.
We have age group leaders who run these group, and look out for their age group each Friday night.
Connect Groups run during our youth program on a Friday night.
All In Nights:
These are our Youth Service nights. Where we gather all ages groups together, to sit under a message. There’s something special when Youth come together to worship God together and experience Him. We often have a big all in game, followed by worship and hearing a biblical message from one of our leaders.
Invite Nights:
Our Invite Nights are held once a term. The aim of these nights is to create an environment that is easy to bring non-Christian friends to, and experience the fun and community that LSY offer.
Our Youth ministry consists of around 14 trained young adult leaders, who are passionate about investing their time into young people. Our leaders go through Safer Churches training every 3 years, and must have an up to date Working with Children Check.
We try to make everything we do at LifeSource Youth fun and safe. If you have questions, please do no hesitate to reach out.

LSY is run by Esther Benjamin. All our services are fully supervised by trained youth leader and our venue is drug and alcohol free
